Catherine Massey Humbarger

DURHAM ???Catherine Massey Humbarger, 90 of Durham died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Duke Regional Hospital. Catherine was a sixth generation native of Durham County. She graduated Durham High School with honors in 1941 where she was a member of The National Honor Society and French Honor Society. Catherine retired from American Tobacco Company after 43 years of service. She was a lifelong member of her beloved Church, Durham Primitive Baptist Church. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Ann Copley of Durham; her niece, Sharon Massey Throop of Efland; and nephew, Walter J. Massey of Collegeville, PA. Graveside Services will be held 11:00am Monday, December 22, 2014 in Woodlawneemorial Park with Elder Cleo Robertson officiating.
