Armistead Ralph Burwell

Oxford: Armistead Ralph Burwell- age 54 a resident of Ashburn, Va. died Thursday in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was a native of Vance Co. and was the son of the late Armistead Ravenscroft and Lucy Rogers Burwell. He was a member of Peace's Chapel Baptist Church and was a commercial realtor. Funeral services will be held Monday January 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM ineehoboth Uneed Methodist Church by the Rev. Tony Moreau. The body will lie in state from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM Monday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving are one sister, June Burwell Bulow of Hoover Al.; one brother Spottswood "Spott" Burwell and wife Barbara of Oxford; two nephews, Eugene Burwell and wife Terry and Scott Burwell and wife Kyle; two great nieces, Tori Burwell and Lineey Burwell; three great nephews Dustin Burwell, Jeremy Burwell and Randall Burwell; and a trusted friend Billy J. Stanton. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 18, 2008 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home in Oxford.
