Anneechols Archambault, 36, of Apex, NC, beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin, and great friend died peacefully on a beautiful fall Sunday morning, October 14, 2018. She was with her mother and father, the loving and steadfast company with whom she entered this world. Anna was an ineedible warrior ineer battle with cancer, facing unimaginable difficulties with fierce determination and dignity, neer losing her hope or her spark for life. Anna lived to love aneenjoyed eight years of marriage to the love of her life, Adam. Perhaps the greatest gift of their marriage was her pride and joy, the ???Sunshine of her Life??? as she called him, her precious soneedward, 6. Anna was born oneeptember 25, 1982 in Birmingham, AL and grew up in Greensboro, NC. She graduated from Page High School in 2001 and attended Samford Uneersity in Birmingham before traneerring to the Uneersity of North Carolina at Greensboro, earning her Bachelor???s Degree in History in 2006. Aneering a lifelong call to share her faith while using her ineedible gifts in children???s ministry, Anna spent a year teaching bible clubs and life skills ineemote villages of the High Andes Mountains above Huaraz, Peru. Following her time ineeru, Anna returned to school at Greensboro College, earning her North Carolina Special Educationeeacher???s Certification which she immediately put to use as a Special Ed teacher at Lakewood Elementary School in Durham. Anna???s passion for children could be seen in the children???s ministry programs at Church of the Good Shepherd in Durham, teaching Sunday School and Children???s Church classes. Her light and creativity were particularly effective as a Vacation Bible School leader. These gifts touched many other children and friends as she served as a children???s leader in the Raleigh Area Bible Study Fellowship. Above all, her real and abiding passions were her love for her Lord Jesus Christ, her husband and son, her family and her friends. Anna sought to instill ineer son and those around her a zest for life, the commitment to God???s True Word, family and friends, and the power of showing up and neer quitting, regardless of the obstacles. Anna is survived by her husband, Adam W. Archambault and her beloved son Edward of Apex, NC; parents Edward and Jody Echols of Greensboro, NC; siblings, Katherine Speaker (Edward and niece Tillar) of Florence, AL, Mollie Echols of Atlanta, GA, and Collier Echols of Miami, FL; grandparents Louise McKee of Durham, NC and Don and Norma Echols of Birmingham, AL; aunts Dona Green (Gary) of Birmingham, AL, Katherine McKee and Gigi Pierce (David) of Durham, NC; cousins Janeeiser (James), Carson Green (Kelly), Winder Holemaneestefania), Ran Holeman (Katie), Jordan Pierce, Mary Gates Pierce, Callie Pierce, Jesse Aneews, Jake Keiser, Jacksoneeiser, Carson Green, Jr., Reily Green, George Holeman, Jamie Holeman, and Mateo Elias-Holeman. Anna was predeceased by her grandfather George R. McKee, Jr., cousin Jason Gary Green, and unee Quentin Mallard. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:30 a.m., at Church of the Good Shepherd, 3741 Garrett Rd, Durham, NC 27707. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 9:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to UNC Lineerger Comprehensive Cancer Center to support colon cancer research.
