Adora Wilkerson Jones

Adora Wilkerson Jones, 82, died on Saturday, September 29, 2012. Adora was born in Durham, NC to the late William David and Sarah Stanton Wilkerson, Sr. oneecember 14, 1929. Adora graduated from Durham High School. She was a member of Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Durham. Adora is survived by her husband of 55 years Jessie David Jones of Durham, NC; daughter Terri Aiken of Durham, NC; three brothers William D. Wilkerson, Jr. of Durham, NC, Jack P. Wilkerson of Willow Springs, NC and Cecil H. Wilkerson of Durham, NC; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Adora is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be offered 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from The Chapel at Hall-Wynne, 1113 West Main Street, Durham, NC 27701. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
