Nannie Leigh Faucette Owen

BULLOCK:

Nannie Leigh Owen, age 94 died, Friday, September 6, 2013 at E.E. Toney Rest Home. A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Nellie Newby Faucette and the widow of Clarence G. Owen. Nannie was a member of Marrow’s Chapel United Methodist Church, a retired employee of Burlington Industries and a homemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Marrow’s Chapel United Methodist Church by Reverend Darrel Bowles. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving is a sister-in-law Frances C. Faucette of Oxford and numerous nieces and nephews. Nannie was preceded in death by her sisters, Bessie F. Munn, Lena Faucette, Juanita F. Walker, Coreen F. Tingen and Lula F. Riggan; brothers, John H. Faucette, Dan M. Faucette and M.T. Faucette.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Marrow’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 2828 Morgan Road, Henderson, NC 27537.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM in the fellowship hall of the church.
