Michele and family,
Mary was one of the friendliest ladies I know. Always a happy spirit. Jerry and I will never forget her kindness and their visit to Duke hospital to see us when Jerry was going through his cancer battle. And since then your mama always asked me how Jerry is doing. We will miss her as a friend and as a member of Stovall Methodist Church.

Wayne and I are so sorry about Mary….Mary and Richard joined SUMC about 7 months after we did…we all became best of friends…we all served on committees when we were building our new church…Loved both of them. Richard was one of the nicest guys I ever met…Mary will be surely missed…Always loved going to her house at Christmas when she had some of the ladies over for lunch. God Bless you and you are in our prayers.

Peggy and Mitch,
I am so very sorry to hear the news of your mother’s passing. I have such wonderful memories of the times we shared, the fun we had so many years ago. Deb, Carol and I send our prayers.

It was a privilege to have known Mary, whom I met in our days together at The Bank Mart. She had the kind of integrity, energy, and humor that characterizes a person of stature. My wife and I were pleased to have been able to visit Mary and Dick during their retirement in North Carolina, in the late 1990’s. Count me among those who will remember.
