Condolence from Mary Carol Sparrow on September 6th, 2018 7:55 pm

I know you will all miss her so much. I will always remember her as sweet and kind and always happy to see me. Mary Julia is the same age my mother, her first cousin Lula Frances Meacham Sparrow. They were close in age and I believe good friends. Maybe that’s why my name is Mary Carol! Sending love to you all! So sorry for your loss.

May God be with all of you and blessings upon you. I will miss seeing her climb the steps to church. Her spunkiness, her energy, her boldness. She loved all of her family and always asking prayer for her kids. A friend to the family for years. My mother and all her friends and family will meet her in Heaven. We love you.

Words seem inadequate to express the sorrow felt by the loss of Mrs. Julia Matlock. I knew her from Calvary FWB Church and always admired her. We would talk when she worked at the cafeteria when I went over for lunch periodically and could not believe at that time, she was 81 years old and still working! I pray that in the midst of your sorrow you find comfort in all the joyful memories shared. Mrs. Matlock is Home now with her Lord and Savior.

Larry and family. I understand your grief. Keep in mind that she lived a wonderful life. She was healthy until recently. She was a hoot to be around. It was amazing that she was still driving. She loved her family. Remember her that way. With that said, it still is hard, but hopefully gives you some peace.
