Oxford:
Mary Coley Ingold of Stem, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2013. She was born November 2, 1930 in Stem to Nelson L. and Salena Flowler Coley who preceded her in death. Her loving husband, Sidney Ingold also preceded her in death.
Mary Frances is survived by a sister like friends; Wilma Tunstall, Patricia Elliott and Iris Farabow are long time friends who have been faithful to her through all these years. Gail Robertson has been a true friend and an extra, extra special care giver for the last six years. Special thank to all the care givers. A number of cousins and many friends also survive Mary.
Mary worked for the state for 30 years as an executive secretary. She was a loyal member of Stem United Methodist Church where she participated in the UMW and over the years held office in most of the committees of the church. She and Sidney were instrumental in helping start the Ruritan Club in Stem. Traveling was something she and Sidney enjoyed. They would hook up their travel trailer and off they would go. Many people have been recipients of Mary’s talents. She enjoyed making different crafts over the years, including Christmas ornaments and quite a few afghans.
Funeral services will be held at the Stem United Methodist on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 2:30 PM by Reverend Brock Meyers. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 PM, prior to service, at the Ruritan Building in Stem for visiting as well as lunch for all who can come.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stem United Methodist Church, c/o Sandra Beasley, 2070 Sanders Road, Stem, NC 27581.

We have lost a wonderful, loving friend today. She is at peace with her maker.
Growing up we lived beside Mary Frances and Sidney. The were the sweetest people. They treated Kelly and myself just like we were their own grandchildren. Heaven has a special angel now.
My sincere condolences to all of
Mary’s friends and family.
