In Memorial

Mark David Davison died peacefully Tuesday morning at home with his loving family by his side. He was 39 years old. A resident of Durham since 1996, Mark was born in Binghamton, NY on July 8, 1965.

Mark graduated from Campbell University with a B.A. degree in Pharmaceutical Science and was employed with Cardinal Health in Morrisville, NC as a formulation scientist.

Mark will be remembered fondly for his magnetism, warmth and keen sense of humor. His love for the game of hockey equaled his deep interest in civil war events. Mark enjoyed spending countless hours with his three cats and two dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Campen of Durham, NC; his parents, Linda and Wayne Davison of Endicott, NY; his two sisters, Heather Erle and husband, Brian, of Endicott, NY; and Kate Davison of Memphis, TN; his grandmothers, Marian Davison of Dryden, NY and Helen Domurad of Kirkwood, NY; three nephews, Jacob and Mason Erle of Endicott, NY and Ian Campen of Albuquerque, NM; and many dear and loving friends.

A memorial service will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, July 2, from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service. Chaplain Jodie Simmons of Duke Community Hospice will preside.

Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service.

Another service will be celebrated in Binghamton, NY at a time and date to be announced later.

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Mark when he worked with my sister & daughter at CVS back in Endicott, NY. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a beautiful twinkle in his blue eyes. He will remain in our memories, and we will keep him in our prayers. God Bless.
