I love you Aunt Marie! You will be missed… I am so glad we were able to have girls weekend at the beach several years back. I enjoyed seeing your interior design work and all the beautiful gardens you made. You were always creating, crafting or just making something which I was always fascinated by. I am so grateful to have had you as an Aunt. I could list a thousand of your talents and still not mention them all; but I will always be reminded of your beauty and passion for life. I know you are in Heavens garden doing what you loved…Until another reunion. All my love- Jackie

Condolence from Jan (Lowery) Hux on January 9th, 2016 10:14 am

Ree, you will definitely be missed by so many! I’ve always felt close to you even though I haven’t seen you much in the last few years and I will always be sorry for that, but you have always been in my thoughts and prayers. I still have many things that you have given me over the years that I will always cherish. Some of your craft items that you made and the bird house that I said I liked, and you picked it up and gave it to me. I always think of you when I look at it. You were the most generous person that I have ever known. Bill and I loved coming to your house and looking at all of the gardening projects that you had going. Ree, I will miss you, but I know that you will enjoy the flowers in heaven.

Condolence from Maggi Neufer on January 14th, 2016 12:37 pm

My greatest sympathy to the family of the Daltons…I knew her only slightly, however, she was most gracious and delightful. Every time I use my casserole carrier or look at the picture of the frog, I think fondly of Marie. Peace Maggi Neufer (Philip Paulsen’s mother)
