She loved working in her yard, gardening, and tending to the numerous plants and flowers at her home on Raleigh Street of 53 years. She enjoyed cooking and spent many hours canning and freezing vegetables from the garden and made wonderful pecan pies and fig preserves from the trees on the property. She hosted many family gatherings over the years and loved to visit with her family and friends.
