Polly and Steve, a beautiful southern charm, good cook, friend to many and mother to you both. I remember most the youth days, Margaret chaperoned our youth group to White Lake. May the good memories bring you comfort in the fays ahead. A friend I will always cherish.

Polly, I am sure your heart is grieving with the loss of your mother. Remember the laughter of all the times you shared throughout your lifetime with her. God gave us the memories to be the band aids for our wounds; use as many of them as you need. You have a million at least. The wounds will heal and be replaced with a coat of honor of your Mother’s love within your heart that will keep you smiling throughout your life time. Love you and I will see you soon

My neighbor but most of all a loving and caring family friend. My Grandma and Margaret were best friends and neighbors after they both married local boys. I grew up seeing Margaret daily especially in the yard or sitting on the porch and of course at church. I am going to miss you Margaret and our long chats on the phone. The wonderful stories you have shared and times spent are now keepsakes in my mind. We will see each other again one day and again we will be neighbors. I love you!! Polly & Steve, you are in my thoughts and prayers!!

Polly, Steve and Family,

We were so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing on Tuesday, Polly. We know that, although your mother lived a full life, she will be greatly missed not only by you, but by all those whose lives she touched. We remember Margaret as a kind, compassionate, and very sweet lady who was a joy to be around. We hope that all of your fond memories of her and times spent with her will sustain you during this difficult time and for many years to come. There’s no loss like that of a mother, and we are here for you, if you need anything.

Love, Kathy & Larry

Dear Polly,
What wonderful memories that I have with my dear friend for 64 years. The loving arms that held our new born baby, Stephanie, while Herman preached at Andrews Chapel , and then took care of her while he preached at Soapstone, while I was working taking care of our veterans- could not have survived as well without your family. Yes, the Myrtle beach trips, the laughter, the love, how blessed we were to be a part of your family. Thank you Polly and Steve for taking such wonderful love filled care of your Mom, my dear friend. Her love showed no limit for you and others. May God bless you and I hope that Herman’s prayer is a comfort and source of joy for you.
Grace & Peace
