Condolences for the family of “Linda Brooks Kidd”

Condolence from Carmen Thomas on July 22nd, 2011 12:00 am

To Roger and girls, Mr. and Mrs. Brooks, Amy and Rhonda. I’d like to express my deepest sympathy to your family during this time of loss. Linda truly was a very special person, a beautiful flower God put on this earth to touch the lives of so many. She certainly touched mine. Even though I had not seen her in quite some time and didn’t even know of her illness until she had passed, I have wonderful memories of her. She had a way with words and a gift of laughter…always putting a smile on your face whenever you saw her and talked with her. She will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. She is definitely making beautiful music in heaven now with no more suffering. Much love, Carmen Thomas and sons, Landon, Parker and Brayden.

I met Linda and Roger while working at Pizza Hut in Pittsboro. Linda was a very loving lady who holds a special place in my heart. I will always remember her bright smile that made my day. God got a special angel who will shine down on all of her family forever. I pray for Roger and all of her family. Gone but never forgotten

Condolence from Wanda Clark Hudgins on July 24th, 2011 12:00 am

I didn’t know Linda very well, but she knew my Dad, they were good friends. I have read all great things about her on facebook, and from what I’ve read she was a very special lady and friend to so many. One thing that stood out was a posting from one of my facebook friends that stated this:

I went to visit Linda while she was so very sick. I went to cheer her up, but instead of cheering her up I walked away with her comforting me. Through her sickness she ended up making me feel better.

Wow is all I can say, now that shows she was a woman of God.

Give Yabo a great big hug for me Linda, tell him his baby girl sure misses him…

I know she is chatting it up with him right now, he loved her very much.

I send my prayers to her Mother, Father, Sisters and to Roger….. God Bless this family and comfort them lord……….

Linda was our favorite nurse @ University Peds. She has worked with our family for almost 7 yrs now with both of our children. She was an absolute blessing & will be missed tremendously. I am so sorry for your loss. I always loved hearing stories. She was so happy when she got married. She was an absolute angel & I will remember her always. My 6 yr old even said “but mommy she was my favorite nurse”. The world has lost an angel but God gained another one & we will see her again one day.We will love you always Mrs. Linda. Love your Monday night Conleys.
