What can I say, Becky was a true southern lady that dearly loved her family & loved life. One of my many memories of Becky is when Chubby Checker had just come out with a new dance that was just the rave. Becky, Linwood, Mom & Dad stayed up all night for Becky wouldn’t leave until she learned “the twist” & she did!!
Whenever I would come into town, we would shop till we dropped & then have a pajama party & play rummy until the wee hours of the morning. She was like a 2nd Mom to me & I truly, truly will miss her. Greg & Jeff, my thoughts & prayers are with you at this time, but we will always have our memories. Love you, Robin
Hello Greg, hope you are doing well in the windy city. We are so sorry to hear about your Mom. Please give Mikey our regards as well. I hear that he is all grown up now and employed.! Take care of yourself and let us hear from you if you are ever in town. Mitchell and Pandora
I Loved Becky like she was my own mother…she had a hand in raising me that’s for sure. She was a wonderful friend for many years to my mother. I have always, and continue to, think of her as one of the most beautiful and stylish women ever. She was a gem and will not be forgotten. – phillip jeffries
I can’t imagine what it’s like to lose both parents w/in a span of 16 months. I thought the world of your Mom. She was a sweet, sweet lady. I know she loved both of you dearly. I know you’ll hear this a lot, but – if you ever need my help w/ anything w/ me being in Raleigh, PLEASE don’t hesitate to ask.
You and your family are very dear to me. Keep the faith brothers!
I am so sorry to hear of your Mother’s passing. I can remember a time when you asked me to be by your side when and if both your parents passed on before you …. Having lost both my mother and my husband, you knew I could comfort you better than most. It is truly a shame that you had no more time to make amends with your folks after all that they went through because of you. Alas, at least now, you won’t have to repay the money that your Mother so graciously loaned you so that you could invest in the dancing chickens farm.
Condolences. This turn of events did not surprise me. I really feel bad for Greg, especially now that he is in Chicago.
My heart goes out to you and your family. How sad to lose both your parents so close together. You boys are both strong, especially Jeffrey. He has what both of you need to keep you going….Just remember that your folks are back together again peacefully and you no longer have to fight those demons….may your suffering and sorrow be brief and may you continue to move in the solid, honest, Christian, clean-living manner you always have, especially Jeff.
