Kelsey Neale Savage, 21, lost her courageous fight against Cystic Fibrosis on March 30 at UNC Hospitals. She was a Durham native and a 2008 graduate of CE Jordan High School. She furthered her education in veterinary care due to her passion for animals. Kelsey will always be remembered for her enthusiasm for life and relentless perseverance.
Kelsey is survived by her parents, Bill and Carol Savage; brother, Taylor; grandparents Joel “Boogie” and Dorothy Evans of Trinity, NC and Ruth “Pat” Savage of Largo, FL. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private service for the family will be held on April 2.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date and will be announced.
