Condolence from Mike Turner on January 9th, 2014 12:00 am

We were seniors at South Granville High School 1972 when I decided to joined the NC National Guard’s 730th Maintenance Battalion in Butner, NC. Your dad was one of the first few people I remember meeting at the unit drills. During my 34 years with the Guard, he always led by example, and shared his knowledge and experience with other soldiers.

I am really sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. He was a fine man. Know that you and the “Fisher” family will be in our prayers in the coming weeks.
Command Sergeant Major Retired Mike Turner
