Condolence from Merle Austin Haney on December 22nd, 2010 12:00 am

To the children and grandchildren of Cousin Jesse. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. My husband, Bill and I, tried to find her several months ago when we made a trip to New London, as that is where she lived when we visited her and Aunt Ethel there, years ago. Did not know she had moved to Pittsboro. I got a copy of her pic. taken with Elizabeth’s children last year. She was beautiful and sure didn’t look her age. My Dad was Meak Austin, Aunt Ethel’s brother. Our deepest sympathy goes out to each one of you. Sincerely, Bill & Merle Austin Haney.
