Condolence from Jill Czajkowski on November 5th, 2012 12:00 am

To the Finch family,
I had the most pleasant experience of working with Jeff last year while I was employed at Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill. Jeff was so measured and professional. His head was held high with a spirit of respectfulness, decency, and intergrity. I really am thankful to God that I, as a newcomer to that position, was paired to work with Jeff. Never did I feel uncomfortable that he would misdirect me or misstate the printed outcome. He was a professional…. and so much more than that, he was SUCH A NICE PERSON. Kindness and goodness are enduring traits and I thank God above for your Jeff Lynch. God had a very deliberate plan for his life. Among so many elements of that purpose, his evenness, big smile, and gentle character were a blessing to all who encountered him! Truly, it was a blessing to interact with him and you were surely all blessed to call him “yours”! The world was a better place because of him! Most sincerely, Jill Czajkowski

Carol — I’m so very sorry. I doubt you remember me — Shelia Glosson Couch. I served as Organist Choir Director at Westwood Church a number of years ago. Your Mom, Kay, sang in the choir. You were just a little thing. I work in the Annual Fund office at Duke. Pam Jones told me about Jeff Finch’s does a lot of work for our office. When I read his obituary — I realized he was your husband. I can only imagine how you must feel, He was far too young to go — these are those times we really question God — and that’s o.k. Just know you and your entire family are being thought about and prayed for today.
