Jeanne and I worked together at CIIT and we have kept in touch through Christmas cards and when I visited her at work.

I am sad to know that she is no longer with us. Jeanne was a good friend. A wonderful and caring person and I know the loss of her in your life will be forever felt.

Condolence from Jennie Coates on December 9th, 2009 12:00 am

To Gerry and family,Jeanne was a good friend to my daughter, Allison, through the high school years and I remember her well. A couple of years ago, we met by chance in the Darien Library and had a great visit together. I can still see her, she looked so well and told me about her life and family. I am sorry for her suffering, your loss, as well as the sorrow for your family. Jennie Coates.

Condolence from Beverly Madden-Bishop on December 20th, 2009 12:00 am

Gerry, I was deeply saddened to see of Jeanne’s passing on the DHS memorial page. She and I crossed paths many times throughout our lives. We were college roommates for a time in Boston, and then when I moved back to Darien after my divorce in ’73 we spent many a morning together with Nicole and Wes, and my two kids Ethan and Jinna – as they were the same ages. I loved her dry sense of humor, and her personal take on things. She had tremendous wit, and we laughed often. I last communicated with her before the reunion and she was as funny, delightful, and lovely as ever. You may or may not remember me, but please know you are in my prayers as well as her children and grandchildren. I know she was much adored by her parents, and this must have been very difficult for her dad as well. Sincerely, Beverly Madden-Bishop
