Jean Williams Pace

Jean Williams Pace, age 74, died Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Wake Med in Raleigh. Jean was born in Franklin County to the late Albert and Jennie Minor Williams on August 25, 1934.

A member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Jean was a devoted wife to her late husband, Rufus, and a loving mother to her four children. She’ll fondly be remembered for serving many delicious meals to family and friends throughout the years.

Jean is survived by her four children: Steve Pace and wife, Kim, of Youngsville, NC; Randy Pace and wife, Donna, of Raleigh, NC; Rusty Pace and wife, Tina, of Franklinton, NC; and Teresa Edwards and husband, Dan, also of Franklinton; her brothers: Willie Williams, Elvis Williams, Wayne Williams; two sisters: Elizabeth Senter and Bobbie Wilson; and five grandchildren: Randi Lynn Pace, Garrett Pace, Mitchell Pace, Blake Pace and Jenny Pace. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Rancher Pace, who died in 2001.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may visit Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, 504 E. Mason St. in Franklinton.

Flowers are acceptable or contributions may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
