In addition to her parents, Jean is predeceased by her beloved husband, Norman S. Jones, Jr., five brothers, and six sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Oxford Baptist Church, 16 Main St., Oxford, NC.  Burial will follow in Meadowview Cemetery, Oxford, NC.  The family will receive guests on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gentry-Newell and Vaughan Funeral Home, Oxford, NC.  Family will also be recieveing guests at Keith and Cyndie’s House.

Dear Family, Our sympathy for your loss. We will continue to keep all of you in our prayers. So sorry that I have not spoken with Jean since having lunch at the home after Norman Jr’s funeral. Henry & I live in Asheboro and we seldom get to Oxford. Jean was very interesting to talk with and most interesting to visit with . Norman Jr. was my dad’s nephew; Daddy & Mama loved both Jean and Norman Jr . When I was growing up whenever we stopped in at Norman Jr’s dad’s store, I always was given gum and candy. Special memories. With love, Judy & Henry Loy
