Dear Dr. Sarah Mason and Luke’s family

I’m deeply saddened on the death of Luke.
I am the IT Trainee in GPM working with Adam Jemiolo, where Luke was a Service Manager for a long time.
I have known him since July when I started working , but from the beginning he was the most thrustworthy person in the whole team. He had a gentle attitude to people that’s why I have never any problem to ask him about something. He seemed he had always everything under control, very calm and sincere person.

I will always associte him with GPM Team and the very good work he was doing for service.

Please accept my sincere condolences

Agnieszka Kowalczyk

Condolence from John-Paul Thompson on October 2nd, 2015 7:48 am

I was in the same team as Luke, based at GSK in the UK.

Luke was always a great sounding board and mentor to me.
If I had an issue that I need to discuss he was always there and always had good sound advice.
There are not many that I would share my soul with, Luke was one.
I will remember him fondly.

I am very sorry about the death of your husband, father, friend. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Nothing will be the same without Luke. Although I’ve known Luke only 5 months, he became important person to me. I have never met Luke personally, only talked with him on teleconferences at work. I’ve always admired his wide knowledge, very positive attitude to people and professionalism at work. He was always very kind person and it was always great to talk to him. It is still so hard to believe that Luke is not any more with us. Please take care. My thoughts are with You in this hard time.

Condolence from Arthur Clark on October 3rd, 2015 9:36 am

As former neighbors and long-time friends of Luke and Sarah, my wife and I are deeply saddened by Luke’s passing. We knew Luke as a dedicated, loving husband and father. We recently sent a photo of Jaime and Jesse as children, visiting with our dog, a wonderful remembrance of Luke and Sarah’s beautiful family. As sad as this time of loss for them is, then, we are hopeful that Sarah, Jaime and Jesse will be sustained in the future by the warm memories they share as family over many years together. Melody and I send our heartfelt condolences to all the members of Luke’s family. You are in our prayers. May Luke rest in peace.

Condolence from Rory O’Connor on October 3rd, 2015 10:09 am

I am saddened to learn of Luke’s passing. I worked in IT support with him while I was at GSK (retired a couple months ago). Luke was my primary “user” for about 6 years, and I respected him and his dedication to doing what he thought best for GSK. He was a very decent man. I did not know Luke very well personally, but I pray for his soul and peace for his family.

I would also like to pass along a message from one of the guys in Poland, Michal Lusiak, who worked with me, and for Luke until the end of 2014:

“Please share my sincere condolences with Luke’s family, from Polish part of his Agile/OAS Poznan team.

Very sad news. I had a chance to meet him personally, here in Poznan, for couple of days and he was my manager for about two years. What I can say, definitely he was a good manager as a person and as a team member: always supporting his team, always trying to make a consensus, not to apply pressure for no reason. He also had a distance to himself, I remember he was saying: “in my marriage I am the >>less intelligent<< as my wife has higher education than me". It is not the thing you can see very often and I am taking this as a positive."
