Condolences for the family of “James Crawford Sneed”

Shirley and Family –
Sorry I can’t make it to the funeral. Psalms 116:15 says “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” For us death is an enemy. For God, it is a reunion with someone He created for His Glory. Jimmy will be greatly missed but what a wonderful reunion he’s having now.

Shirley and family

I will not be able to attend Jimmy’s homegoing, but please know that you and your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow and in the coming weeks. I am so glad that I got to know you and Jimmy in our Sunday School class and able to enjoy our in between class and preaching conversations and joking around. Will always remember how tickled he would get sometimes. We will have some good memories and for that I am glad.

I want to pass along my deep sympathy at Jimmy’s passing. I worked with Jimmy for many years at Athol. I really enjoyed working with him and getting to know him out of the work place. My prayers and best wishes are extended to the family.

Hi to the family:
Sorry could not get to the funeral. Found out too late. I worked with Jimmy the many years he was at Athol, Butner, NC. Always a pleasure to work with and associate with outside the work area also. Will remember the Snead Family in my prayers.
A work associate and friend,
Roger L. Overton
