Faye was a mentor to me during my days in Chapel Hill working with her through SAFO as kitchen manger of Sigma Nu. We remained close as her financial advisor. Thanks for you kind heart, warm smile, and allowing me to be a part of your family’s life. You will me missed.

Having just gone through this in March, I do know how you are feeling. I still think of my mom everyday multiple times and almost pick up the phone to call her. Life isn’t the same. I picture all our parents and grandparents in Heaven now laughing and having fun looking out for all of us who are left. Homestead Road is empty now, isn’t it?

What a privilege to have known Faye and shared her love of God, church and family. We will miss her smiling face but are comforted that she is smiling in heaven.
