
Ernest Boddie Autry, 84, of 1705 Ned Moore Road died Thursday in the VA Medical Center. Mr. Autry owned and operated E. B. Autry Construction Services. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Autry was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Williamson Autry.
Surviving are five children, Sherrill Cates and David Autry both of Raleigh, Wayne Autry, Robert Autry and wife Linda Perry, Hershel Autry and wife Karen and Steve Autry and wife Keli of Durham; Joyce Duncan and husband Ted of Lisbon, NC; one sister; Florence McCachern; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 2:00 PM Monday in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 5 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home.
