I am saddened to hear of the passing of Libby. She was so good to us when Nancy was dying with cancer. She would bring us dinner nightly from Happy Days and it was so greatly appreciated. On a lighter side, I remember especially the chocolate chess pies she made and served at her Christmas Open House. To Buddy and all the family, please accept my sincerest condolences. Blessings, Carl

Condolence from Natalie Webb on July 2nd, 2013 12:00 am

My thoughts, love, and prayers are with each of you and have been since Friday morning. So many things come to mind when I think about Libby…the biggest cheese straws and lady fingers I have ever seen anyone make. The words that come to mind when describing Libby are family, love, dedication, compassion, friends, integrity, loyal, honor and these are just to name a few. I see these traits in all of you as Libby taught you well. Cherish your memories and let the love for one another and your faith carry you through in the days ahead. Time truly does heal…you just have to remind your heart. I will miss that phone ringing and hearing “Hey girl…what are you doing?” more than anyone can imagine. Libby showed me how much she loved and cared about me by not sharing her biggest challange that had loomed ahead of her…she was protective right up until she woke up in the arms of Jesus…how Libby like. My love to all of you as you mean so much to me.

Drew and Hayden-
I was so sorry to hear you lost your grandmother. Grandmothers are wonderful because they do all the good stuff and never have to do the tuff parent stuff. And, they have time to listen. Treasure the good memories and know that your friends share your sorrow. See you in scouts in the fall.
