EILEEN PHILOMENA SCULLION (nee Madden)

Suddenly and peacefully at home in North Carolina on Tuesday 10th February 2015. Eileen Philomena Scullion (Madden) aged 62. Beloved wife of Owen , and much loved mother to Claire, Mark and Emma and loved granny of Daniel, Mathew , Joseph, Isla and Cameron. Loved mother in law to Phil Preston and Claire Stokes.
Funeral Mass will take place at 11.00am Wednesday, 18th February at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 West Main St., Durham, followed by cremation at Hall-Wynne Crematory, 1113 W. Main Street, Durham, NC 27701. No flowers please. Donations to either preferred charities; St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital – www.stjude.org or Macmillan Nurses – www.macmillan.org.uk

A service will also be held at St Michael’s, Dumbarton in April. Details will be posted nearer the time.

Owen and the family of Eileen Scullion would like to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends, work colleagues and neighbours for the many cards, flowers, Mass cards and kind expressions of sympathy received following the passing of Eileen . Grateful thanks to Durham Emergency Services; Dr. Anita Shivadas, Duke Medical Practice; Hall-Wynne Funeral Directors for their efficiency. Thanks to University Florist, Chapel Hill and Nantucket Catering. Special thanks to Fr. David Devlin, Holy Infant Parish, Durham, for his care, compassion and support.     Deepest sympathy to Owen and all the family. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
    Eileen was a good friend, a warm and friendly person with a great sense of humour. Wonderful memories of you all. Mass will be celebrated in memory of Eileen at St.Mary’s Blackbrook.
    May she rest in peace.

    We are so sad to hear of Eileen’s sudden death.
    Our sincere condolences to Owen, Claire, Mark, Emma and all the family.
    Father Bill Flynn will celebrate Mass for Eileen and all the Family at his home here in Formby.
