Hall-Wynne Partners with Local Counselor to Offer Grief Services to Families
Hall-Wynne Funeral Service & Crematory announced today a partnership with Rob Womack, an associate licensed professional counselor (LPCA), to provide three grief counseling sessions per family who request it in the wake of losing a family member.
A lifelong Durham native, Womack began serving those in need as a hospice and hospital volunteer in 2003. He then made a vocational commitment to helping caregivers and families through difficult life transitions. His commitment lead him to Wake Forest University where he received a Masters in Divinity and a Masters of Arts in Counseling. As an LPCA, he now works with spiritually and culturally diverse persons who are faced with grief following the loss of a loved one.
“Losing a family member is difficult under any circumstance. People handle grief in many different ways and often have lingering questions,” said Hall-Wynne’s President Mark Higgins. “Rob has a tremendous amount of experience working with individuals and families. His compassion and the services he provides is an extension of what we already provide the families in our care. We are pleased to add another layer of support to our families as they experience the process of loss and the grief that accompanies that loss”
