A supportive wife of a musician would be a person possessing saintly degrees of understanding and patience. Dennis, it hurts to my core to know that you have lost your Number One fan. I can only imagine. I am hearing Amazing Grace in my mind right now. Prayers for everyone in your family.

As I sit and remember my first meeting with Cathy in 1979 we instantly made a connection. That connection has survived through the years. At times life got in the way of regular contact but the connection was there. Whenever we we able to sit and catch up is was as if we had just seen each other

Cathy was a true friend and a woman of great character she thought of others before herself. The love of her life and her best friend Dennis is also a man of great character together they had a life of love and built a beautiful family in that love. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends that are left behind but we will all be together one day.

Rest my Dear Friend and be my Angel when I am in need. Kiss Ryan for me.

I will always remember the best friend a person could ever ask for

To the Beckwith family – Cathy will always hold a special place in our hearts. Remembering when we first met, we immediately knew Dan was getting a great mom. Her heart was huge and generous. I remember when we both became proud grandma’s. I can so vividly see the joy on her face holding those grandbabies! It was a pleasure knowing her. She will missed. Our thoughts and prayers surround your family. Her love will carry on in the many precious memories we have of her. Ann and Dan

I worked with Cathy at Hope Valley Elementary School when the DHH oral program moved there. I have always looked up to her as she was quite a remarkable lady. She was down to earth and always tried to help the students learn both academic and life skills. She was a “straight shooter” who had high expectations for all the kids she worked with. She always had great ideas on how to assist kids in their learning and she didn’t let kids use their hearing loss as a deterrent to believing in their success. She was giving but expected kids to tow the line. Your wife, mother, sister and my friend will be missed. Thank you for sharing her with me during school hours.
