Cameron MaKay Brown,  21 years of age, passed away on Tuesday May 21, 2019 in a tragic accident.   The son of Jason Edward Brown (Jennifer Bergen) and Pamela Lynn Brown (P.J. Provenzano), he was born in Vance County on October 12, 1997.

Cameron was a young man who had three loves: family, friends, and fast cars. He was a Pontiac Enthusiast and loved the adrenalin rush he got from driving fast.  Cameron loved his family with all of his heart; a heart of pure gold; a true family man.

Cameron is survived by his parents and step-parents; his sisters, Madison Hope Brown, and Olivia Faith Brown; his brothers, Brandon Tyler Brown (Kalee Edwards), and Silas Isaiah Provenzano; his nephew, Brantley Walker Brown and his grandparents, Joseph Goodwin Brown and Celia Perkins Brown, Roy and Reca Callis and Catherine and James Blackwell.  Cameron is also survived by many loving friends and family members too numerous to name.

Memorial services will be held to honor Cameron’s Life on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 3:30 pm at the Gentry – Newell & Vaughan Funeral Chapel, 503 College St., Oxford, NC. A visitation will be held, prior to the service, from 2:00 to 3:15 pm at Gentry – Newell & Vaughan. All are welcome to attend. A private cremation ceremony was previously held.

Gentry-Newell & Vaughan is proudly serving the Brown family. Online memorials at www.HallWynne.com

Nothing can replace this young man and his place on earth. Only 21 years you got to share with him and I know it wasn’t nearly enough. I dont know why good people are taken from us so early, its just wrong. I truly hope that you and you family heal from here. Remember all the good things you all shared with him and although I know it will be extremely difficult, in between the sorrow and tears, try smile and laugh….I’m sure he wouldnt want anything less. I’m beyond saddened by this and have your family in my heart and mind hoping that you are all going to be ok.

Deepest sorrow and apologizes goes out to the family and friends of Cameron. I remember meeting Cameron and introducing each ourselves to each other at a Cars and Coffee event in Wake Forest. We talked about cars (G8s) and mods for them.

So stun / shocked to lose someone who’s passionate and down-to-earth like Cameron. Especially when it comes to his hobbies. We all have memories to cherish.

Your family has my condolences.
