OXFORD:
Blanche Adams Forsythe, died Friday September 2, 2011 in Kerr Lake Nursing Center. She was a nativeof Vance Co. and was the daughter of the late Wesley T. and Alton Rooker Adams. She was the widow of the late Doctor Louis Frosythe. Blanche was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church and was a retired Real estate Agent. She was also a member of the Kerr Lake Board of Realtors.
Funeral services will be held on Monday September 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM in St. Stephens Episcopal Church by the Rev. James Pahl. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.
Surviving is a daughter, Joy Forsythe ReedBill of Raleigh; a son, Fred ForsytheBetsy of Cary; two brothers, Thomas Adams of Burlington, NC and Wes Adams of Greensboro, NC; six grandchildren, Scott, Keri and Beth Reed, Keith, Worth and Catherine Forsythe; two great grandchildren, Charlotte and Julia Reed.
The family will receive friends on Sunday September 4, 2011 from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Gentry-Newell & Vaughan Funeral Home.

Dear Joy and Fred, we just wanted to say how dear your mom was to Carl and me. She helped Carl out tremendously when he started his career in real estate 17 years ago. We will miss her smile, sense of humor and her wonderful peanut brittle. We will be praying for all of you.
