Don, I met Betty in Jan. 2011 when I joined the Granville Gardeners. She was a very kind and considerate
person. She seemed to really enjoy
the GGC meeting just last month. I’m glad I have that memory of her.
I will keep you and all the family
in my prayers at this time as they
travel to be with you in Oxford.

Dear Don and Family,
I was very sad to hear of Betty’s passing. She was a sincere and caring person, and will be missed by all who knew her, as we did at Starr Transit.

I was in the Vance County Master Gardeners with Betty. Her husband and Betty brought black-eyed susans to my house to share. We also worked at Rose Gin and Lowes workshops together. We will miss her so much.

Don & Family, we are so sorry that Betty is gone. She was a very unique lady and so full of life. It’s not often that we have the privilege of knowing some one like her. She will always remain in our hearts.

To Betty’s Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Betty at the Master Gardener plant clincs and she always put a smile on my face with her upbeat personality and wit.
She was certainly an asset to the Master Gardener Program and I know she will be missed by one and all.
