Condolences for the family of “Bettie Pearl Woodlief”

Condolence from Joyce Weathersby on April 30th, 2009 12:00 am

Betty Ruth—I am so sorry to hear about Betty Pearl. I was in the area Saturday and wanted to stop by to see her but I just couldn’t. I have not been able to go to Universal since Mama Ruth Perry died. I am so sorry that I didn’t see Betty Pearl again. She was such a sweet, sweet lady and she always looked out for Mama. I will never forget the kindness that she showed to my Mother. I have her artwork all over my beach house and I have thought of her a thousand times since Mama passed away. Please know that I am thinking of you and your family and offer my deepest sympathies.

Condolence from Greta Diederich Wicks on May 1st, 2009 12:00 am

My mother, Barbara Morton Diederich is Betty Pearl’s first cousin. My Grandma “Pete” and Betty Pearl’s mother were sisters. I have know Betty Pearl my entire life and I am so sad that she is gone. She is so lucky to have had loving cousins to care for her over the past years and for that I am thankful. She will be sorely missed and it will not be the same at the Wright Family Reunion this year without her. God bless you Betty Pearl!
