Jack Franklin Harrill, Sr., 83, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015. A native of Forest City, NC, Jack and his wife have resided in Durham for over 33 years. He was born June 18, 1932 to the late Robert C. Harrill and Margaret A. Bowen Harrill. He proudly served in the US Army for 21 years, serving two tours of duty each in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. SCHEIRER, DANIEL CHARLES, 68, fell asleep in the Lord Friday, July 24, 2015. Dan was born December 10, 1946 in Lebanon, PA to parents Robert L. Scheirer and Christine A. Smith. He attended Wheaton College, Illinois, and was awarded his masters and doctoral degrees from Pennsylvania State University.
