Founded as Sandling Funeral Home in the 1950s, Franklin Funeral Service was purchased by Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in 2001 from the Loewen Group, a national conglomerate. Returning the funeral home to private, independent ownership has enabled us to offer a high level of personalized and thoughtful service, now at moderate prices. As such, we do not answer to an out-of-town corporate office, but are directly accountable to the families we serve!
Since affiliation with Hall-Wynne, the facility has undergone extensive renovation, making it a home-like, comfortable place. Our standard service now includes special customized memorial programs, a remembrance video production and personalized stationery - all without added fees. These are among several enhancements that have positioned our funeral home as an area leader in top quality service.
