Clifton Hoover Price died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Duke Hospice at the age of 88 years.
Cliff was a graduate of Durham High School and served in the NC National Guard for over 15 years. He was married to Elizabeth (Lib) Emory for 66 years. After retiring from Duke Energy (Power) after 35 years, he began a construction company named Jamestown Developers. Cliff will be remembered as a die-hard Tarheel; a fierce golfing competitor; a jokester; and a loyal friend.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Price; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Stubbs; grandson, Raymond Clifton “RC” Stubbs; granddaughter, Elizabeth Stubbs; great-granddaughter, Sophia Stubbs; son-in-law, Ray and his granddaughter-in-law, Alina.
A graveside service for Cliff will be on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 3pm at Olive Grove Baptist Church, 3024 Olive Grove Church Rd. Creedmoor, NC in the church cemetery.
